FAQs

  • What are your opening times?

    A: We are open from 7:30am until 6pm, Monday-Friday.

  • Do you have a minimum attendance policy?

    A: Yes, we do. We require children to attend a minimum of 2 days per week. This helps key workers build better bonds with children. Children also tend to settle better when the gap between sessions isn’t as big.

  • What ratios do you have in place?

    A: For babies under the age of 2 it is 1:3, for 2–3 year old’s it is 1:4 and for 3 years old and over it is 1:8.

  • How does your settling sessions work?

    A: We offer do settling in sessions before your child is due to start with us. We often determine how

    many sessions with how well the child takes to the setting in the first 2 settles. Settling in sessions

    last 2 hours.

  • How do we pay?

    A: We accept most childcare vouchers and the new tax-free government scheme. We require

    payment by the 5 th of the month by BACS.

  • Do you accept funding?

    A: We accept 2- and 3-year-old funding. We spread all funding across our year which is 51 weeks.

  • Do you provide lunch?

    A: We provide a freshly cooked hot meal for lunch as well as tea but there also is an option to bring

    in a packed lunch.

  • What do I need to bring to nursery?

    Nursery Checklist 

    • Nappies 
    • Wipes
    • Nappy Cream
    • 2 changes of clothes, including socks
    • Bottles if applicable 
    • Formula if applicable 
    • Dummy if applicable 
    • Comforter if applicable 
    • Water bottle / water cup
    • Sun hat /Winter hat / gloves weather permitting 
    • Sun cream
    • Puddle suite / waterproof 's
    • Wellies
    • Slippers
    • Any teething aids that may help if your child is teething
